Description

This is a pre-serial period brass 400 “Super Raddick”!

This snare is the predecessor of the LM400, which can be said to be the eternal standard model of RADIC, and was manufactured in the so-called pre-serial period of the early 1960s.
The 400s made after 1964 had Radialoy shells (plated aluminum shells), but these were made of chrome over brass, which is heavier and has a very thick and bright sound.

The bottom of the hoop is original, but the top seems to have been replaced (steel).
The inner mute still has the original red felt.
The bolts and washers appear to have been replaced.
The snappy has also been replaced with the current one.

There are some minor dents on the shell, and the impression that it has been used for its age cannot be denied, but the shell sound itself is solid without any problems, and the sound itself is good.

There are some minor scratches and other signs of use, but you can fully enjoy the fat and bright sound that is typical of Super Radic.
