Description

This 57 Strat features gold race sensors, TBX & mid-boost circuit. Fender Japan Stratocaster ST57-770LS, made in 1991.

Features “OVALTIPE neck & seagull string guide” instead of “soft V-shape neck & button string guide” of ST54-LS. It has an alder body, maple 1P neck, 8-point pickguard, Lace Sensor Gol PU, TBX control & mid boost.

This is an attractive example of the gold Lace Sensor pickups familiar from the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster and the TBX & mid-boost circuit.

It shows signs of use (color fading, minor scratches and hairline scuffs, scuffs and play marks, picking marks, deflection characteristic of an 8-point pickguard, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the originally low fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to 60.
